Slow internet connection

Slow internet connection is a prevailing problem of internet these days.There are tremendous users who are regularly facing this problem.There can be many possible for slow internet. Some of  them are -

• May be you are accessing internet during peak hours of the day.


• May be there is some problem with the network card.


• May be there is some clitch in the quality of ADSL modem connected in your computer.


• You might not have installed good anti virus in your desktop.Spy wares & viruses can harm filles & any program running in your computer even an internet.


• If you are using internet on Wi-Fi,then may be your system is far from the wireless router that it is unable to catch the signals.


• May be possible some wires are not properly plugged.

Slow internet connection can be resolved using following trouble shooting tips -

• Always install strong anti virus software that can catch viruses easily.


• Do not download or upload files during heavy traffic hours as this may interrupt your internet access.


• Try to change the address of your Domain Name Server’s (DNS) Address.


• Try to change the ADSL modem if it is of bad quality.


• Monitor the speed what you are getting from your ISP.If this is less then talk to your ISP.


• Check to see if your network card is working properly.


• Avoid doing heavy computational activities while accessing internet as this will alievate the load.


• First unplug all the cables connecting switches,routers to your computer,then plug them again to troubleshoot a problem.
